Drain the Electric Powertrain Cooling System.
Refer to: Cooling System Filling and Bleeding (303-03D Electric
Powertrain Cooling - Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV), General Procedures).

Remove the retainers and the RH underbody shield.
Torque:
22 lb.in (2.5 Nm)
-
Remove the nuts.
Torque:
55 lb.in (6.2 Nm)

Disconnect the electrical connector. Remove the clip and the high voltage battery coolant temperature sensor.
Installation
-
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Fill the Electric Powertrain Cooling System

Removal
Remove the steering column shrouds.
Refer to: Steering Column Shrouds (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).
Remove the PATS transceiver.
Disconnect the PATS transceiver electrical connector.
Release the PATS transceiver tabs.
Slide the PATS transceiver off of the ignition housing.
