Ford Escape: Steering Wheel and Column Electrical Components / Removal and Installation - Steering Wheel Multifunction Switch

Removal

  1. Remove the driver airbag.
    Refer to: Driver Airbag (501-20B Supplemental Restraint System, Removal and Installation).
  1. On both sides.
    Disconnect the steering wheel multifunction switch electrical connector.
  1. Remove the steering wheel bezel.
  1. NOTE: Right hand (RH) switch shown, left hand (LH) switch similar.

    Remove the retainers and the steering wheel multifunction switch.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
