Ford Escape: Seatbelts / Fastening the Seatbelts

- Insert the belt tongue into the proper
buckle, the buckle closest to the
direction the tongue is coming from,
until it engages.
Note: Make sure that the seatbelt tongue
is properly fastened in the seatbelt buckle.

- Press the button to release the seatbelt
tongue.

When in use, place the rear seatbelts in the
belt guides on the outermost seat
backrests.
WARNING: Always drive and ride
with your seatback upright and the lap
belt snug and low across the hips.
WARNING: Children must always
be properly restrained...

make sure to cover any open ports to prevent debris from entering the
system...
Removal
Remove the front bumper cover.
Refer to: Front Bumper Cover (501-19 Bumpers, Removal and Installation).
Remove the front fog lamp.
Detach the front fog lamp wire harness retainer.
Disconnect the front fog lamp electrical connector...
