Ford Escape: Engine Emission Control / Removal and Installation - Crankcase Vent Oil Separator
Removal

Position aside the PCV tube.

Remove the crankcase vent oil separator bolts and then remove the crankcase vent oil separator.

Inspect the crankcase vent oil separator gasket.
Installation
-
Install the crankcase vent oil separator and tighten in the sequence shown.
Torque:
97 lb.in (11 Nm)

Position back the PCV hose.

fabricated using a 9 cm diameter (3 in I.D.) pipe, 100 cm (39 in) in
length (available as Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) pipe, or similar from a
hardware or plumbing supply.
