Removal

NOTE: Left hand (LH) shown, right hand (RH) similar.

NOTE: Typical interior rear door handle latch release cable clip shown, others similar.

  1. Remove the rear door trim panel.
    Refer to: Rear Door Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation) .

  1. NOTE: Make sure to note the routing and attachment points of the cables to ensure correct operation of the interior rear door handle.

    Remove the interior rear door handle latch release cable clip.
    1. Disconnect the interior rear door handle lock indicator cable.
    1. Disconnect the interior rear door handle cable.
    1. Disconnect the interior front door handle cable eyelet.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
