Ford Escape: Exterior Lighting / Removal and Installation - Light Emitting Diode (LED) Control Module

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

  1. Remove the headlamp assembly.
    Refer to: Headlamp Assembly (417-01 Exterior Lighting, Removal and Installation).
  1. Remove the screws and position the lower LED control module.
  1. Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the lower LED control module.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  1. Using a diagnostic scan tool, execute the "BCM > LIN New Module Initialization" routine. Follow the diagnostic scan tool directions.
