Liftgate mounted rear lamp assemblies

Remove the liftgate trim panel.
Refer to: Liftgate Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).

Remove the rear lamp assembly from the liftgate.

Disconnect the rear lamp assembly electrical connector.
-
Remove the nuts and while pulling outward
releasing the clip, remove the rear lamp assembly from the liftgate.
Torque:
55 lb.in (6.2 Nm)
Rear quarter panel mounted rear lamp assemblies

Remove the LH loadspace trim panel.
Refer to: Loadspace Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).

Release the wire routing clip and disconnect the rear lamp assembly electrical connector.

Using a non-marring tool, remove the outer screw trim cover.
Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

Remove the rear lamp assembly screw.
Torque:
28 lb.in (3.2 Nm)
-
Gently pull the rear lamp assembly away from the
vehicle in an outboard direction. Remove the rear lamp assembly.
Installation
-
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Remove the driver airbag.
Refer to: Driver Airbag (501-20B Supplemental Restraint System, Removal and Installation).
On both sides.
Disconnect the steering wheel multifunction switch electrical connector.
Remove the steering wheel bezel...

What Is the Master Access Code
The master access code is a factory-set
five-digit entry code. You can operate the
keypad with the master access code at
any time. The master access code is on the
owner’s wallet card in the glove box and
is available from an authorized dealer.
Displaying the Master Access Code
To display the factory-set code in the
information display:

Remove the rubber mat.
Insert the first programmed key in the
backup slot.
Press the push button ignition switch
once and wait a few seconds.
Press the push button ignition switch
again and remove the key.
Within 10 seconds, place a second
programmed intelligent access key in
the backup slot and press the push
button ignition switch.
