Removal
NOTE:

Remove the heater core.
Refer to: Heater Core (412-00 Climate Control System - General Information, Removal and Installation).

Remove the seal.

Remove the screws and the thermostatic expansion valve.
Torque:
71 lb.in (8 Nm)

Remove the seal.

Remove the screws, release all the retaining tabs and remove the evaporator cover.

Remove the evaporator.
-
Detach the evaporator tempreature sensor.
Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

The evaporator temperature sensor is available only as part of the evaporator.
Remove the evaporator.

Preliminary Inspection
Visually inspect the CV joints, housing, boots, and clamps for obvious signs of mechanical damage.
If an obvious cause for an observed or reported concern is
found, correct the cause (if possible) before proceeding to the next
step
If the cause is not visually evident, verify the symptom and REFER to Symptom Chart: NVH...
NOTE:

information, owner literature, or messages located on the message
center.
