Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

Front Pedestrian Alert System Speaker

1. Remove the front bumper cover.
   Refer to: Front Bumper Cover (501-19 Bumpers, Removal and Installation).
   

1. Disconnect the electrical connector and wire guide clip.
   

1. 1. Remove the screw.
      Torque: 35 lb.in (4 Nm)
   2. Release the clips and remove the front pedestrian alert system speaker.
      

Rear pedestrian alert system speaker

1. 1. Remove the push pins.
      
   2. Remove the screws and the deflector shield.
      Torque: 17 lb.in (1.9 Nm)

1. 1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
      
   2. Release the wiring guides and position aside the wiring harness.
      

1. 1. Remove the bolt.
      Torque: 71 lb.in (8 Nm)
   2. Remove the nuts and the rear pedestrian alert system speaker.
      Torque: 71 lb.in (8 Nm)

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
