Ford Escape: Information and Entertainment System - General Information / Removal and Installation - Satellite Radio / Global Positioning System (GPS) Antenna
Removal
-
Lower the headliner.
Refer to: Headliner - Lowering (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).

Disconnect the electrical connector.

Remove the satellite radio/GPS antenna.
-
Remove the bolt.
Torque:
93 lb.in (10.5 Nm)
Installation
Existing antenna
-
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
New antenna
NOTE:
If installing a new satellite radio/GPS antenna it is not necessary to
remove the bolt from the satellite radio/ GPS antenna base.

Install harness through the opening and push down until the base is fully seated.

Connect the electrical connector.

Install the headliner.

LH rear door tweeter speaker is shown, RH rera door tweeter speaker is similar.

Remove the front door scuff plates.
