Ford Escape: Front Seats / Removal and Installation - Front Seat Power Lumbar Assembly

Removal

NOTE: Driver seat shown, passenger seat similar.

  1. Remove the front seat backrest cover.
    Refer to: Front Seat Backrest Cover (501-10A Front Seats, Removal and Installation).

  1. Remove the front seat power lumbar assembly.
    1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
    1. Detach the upper J-hooks.
    1. Detach the middle J-hooks.
    1. Detach the lower J-hooks.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
